Gerard was born in New Orleans, but quickly became a Texan. After graduating high school he believed he was meant to be famous. Gerard attended college and earned a degree in acting, only to find out he was a bad actor. Gerard moved to Germany and started professional career in fashion. After a couple years he returned home and got his first corporate job in online marketing. He fell in love with advertising, marketing, technology and have worked with all three ever since.
